February 26th meeting
The Rotary Club of Johnson County enjoyed beautiful weather for our last meeting in February. Our guest speaker was Steve Nettles, District 5710 chairman for endingHuman Trafficking. He shared some very sobering information about the high prevalence of Human Trafficking and helped us understand the many causes. We were given information to use in conversations with legislators to first time buying sex to a felony. The club hopes to be able to make a difference in combating this very serious problem.
In spite of the heavy topic, we all enjoyed our time together!
